Colton Simmons is a recent graduate of the University of Utah Kahlert School of Computing, receiving his Bachelor's in Computer Science. He is a game developer and graphics programming enthusiast. Outside of software engineering, he is a skilled musician who performs and teaches mallet percussion.

Colton has performed as a mallet percussionist in Drum Corps International's (DCI) world-champion corps Carolina Crown. He was awarded the bronze medal at DCI finals in 2023.
Colton was a part of the University of Utah's marching band, the Pride of Utah for 3 years. He marched in two Tournament of the Roses Parade during his time there.
In order to give back for all the experiences Colton received as a musician, he has begun teaching the Mountain Ridge High School Indoor Drumline, and will accompany them on their first trip to Winter Guard International finals this spring!
